so, this is all i understand of Blazblue so far:

1. EVERYBODY IS GAY

if the Teach Me Miss Litchi episodes don't end in a superhot lesbian orgy I WILL FEEL CHEATED i mean i am only on episode 2 and ffffff i am still kind of amazed Makoto didn't end up making out with either Noel or Taokaka in her extreme(ly physical) appreciation of their ~cuteness~

Jin NEEDS NO ELABORATION

Hazama is all HINTHINTWINKWINK to anyone mildly attractive

i suppose Bang is straight but he is also one of the sluttiest-dressed ninjas ever WHICH IS QUITE A FEAT and that should count for....something.

2. ARAKUNE IS ADORABLE

and tragic. but mostly adorable! also: BEES

3. I SHOULD PROBABLY HATE THIS GAME

because dear god, it's like every single annoying animu trope in existence was put into a blender and the product was THIS GAME. there's tsundere vampire lolis and prettyboi incest(!!!) and ASS EVERYWHERE (srsly there is bare ass RIGHT ON THE GAME DISC WHAT) and a stupidly complex world history/storyline gushing with melodrama and redonkulous dialog and

and and and

I AM EATING IT UP

especially the prettyboi incest for which i am duly ashamed (why self why)

4. I WILL NEVER FIGURE OUT HOW TO PLAY THIS, NOR WTF IS GOING ON IN THE STORY

THAT IS PRETTY MUCH A PERFECT DESCRIPTION OF EVERYTHING IN BLAZBLUE TBH. Blazblue is pretty much just Guilty Gear if you took Guilty Gear and coated it in as much mainstream appeal as humanly possibly, so the whole thing feels kind of shallow and exploitative. And Guilty Gear was ridiculous in the way that every fighting game is ridiculous. It's basically a genre requirement.

Trufax: the only reason I'm buying the second game is Hazama. I made the mistake(?) of watching everyone's arcade story one YouTube, and Hazama trolling fucking everyone was just so beautiful I immediately forgot all of my problems with the first game and went "I WAAAAAAAANT *A*"

Oh god I know ;A; Arakune is one of the few things in Blazblue I Like Without Qualifications. Carl is my favorite though because I have a weakness for moe moe shota boys I guess??
