so uh
i don't know how to say this, but: in my spare time, i am committing genocide.

only 12,195 zombies to go!
and yes, this deserved its own entry. ZOMBIE EXTERMINATION: SERIOUS BUSINESS.

and because i'm in an awfully fannish mood tonight, a meme:
Leave me a pairing [or two] and I'll tell you...
1. Two things that are awesome about it
2. Two things that are not so awesome about it
3. Two ways I'd love to write it

there is actually a bit of a cross-game in-joke with the number. pulled from the L4D wiki:
"This is a reference to the game Dead Rising, in which if you kill 53,594 zombies, it grants the "Zombie Genocider" achievement; Frank West, the player, has killed, down to a man, the entire population of Willamette. In order to outdo Dead Rising, Valve included this achievement and added one more to the kill count. The word is also a pun: the suffix "er" usually indicates something that is directly better than the previous (which is the ending of Genocider, although it's a different meaning in that term) while "est" indicates something that is the best. This Achievement is literally a "we are the best" statement."
another, later released zombie game, Prototype, has a similar achievement also but requires 53596 zombies killed.
everything the media says about video games is true. they are turning us into mass murderers....of pixelated zombies.
