can you believe there is no goat barn at the state fair?! it's been around for 134 years, but there has never been a goat...anything!
well, during the sheepdog demostrations there is usually a goat or two. apparently hearding goats is much harder than herding sheep, and separating a mixed group of goats and sheep is a sign of a really good sheepdog.
the cows and sheep are the friendliest animals at the fair, i think. i like the pigs the most because they are either adorable (piglets) or huge and awesome (adults) but they're almost always sleeping during the viewing hours. XD the cows and sheep seem to like people watching and petting them for the most part.
