so, a song! Here's something from Konami's Beatmania IIDX, a dj simulation game: Ganymede. it's a slow, eerie electronica piece with a sense of loneliness and desolation. (to crib from the wiki description ;) this is on my 'writing' playlist - it's a lovely mood-setting song.

not related at all, but - has anyone else had troubles with fanfiction.net lately? i've been trying to read and review fics for a few days now and i keep getting error messages, usually 'fic/chapter cannot be found,' when i try to submit them. other times it looks as if the review has gone through, but it does not show on the review page at all, even after a day or two.

my browser is Google Chrome, for what it's worth - i've been using Chrome for awhile, though, so i don't think this is a browser problem? it's becoming frustrating. :(

Hmm, I see what you mean about mood-setting. I've been listening to steam-punk band Abney Park for the last couple days, and I have noticed it is affecting my writing, as it's quite dark mood-wise, and huge chunks have been rejected because I've gone emo-overboard. :s

I don't think it's you browser at fanfic.net either. I noticed yesterday that I was having issues accessing some chapters with the same error message. I think the website's being a tart again. :p

DX i submitted a review for the latest chapter of Interregnum and they are not going through, it seems? which makes me sad because OMG, so much love ♥ i am especially in love with Siegfried reading in broken English~ such a nice touch. i just...pretend language differences don't exist in the wonderful world of SC :D;;

anyway i will try ONE MORE TIME but if it doesn't go through i will, um, find someplace else to put it...?

Yes you should! The sound is fantastic, though sometimes quite moody. Lost Horizons is my favourite of their albums, a blend of electronic, folk and some astounding vocals. XD

Thank you for the mini-review right there. I have been trying to throw some contextual realism into the fic, Ivy's house for instance is not the fancy palace in the games, but a more appropriate black and white Tudor manor. Also Siegfried can't speak English, though he can just about read Latin, can only speak and write in his own German dialect, but can swear in about 5 other regional variations... not that it really matters... :op

If you want someplace else, I have set up another LJ to house my fic, given the amount I've been churning out lately, and some of it is stuff that probably won't see the light of ff.net (smut omnom!) Either way, it's there, so I can be more prolific for my own delectation, and yours too if you like! =)
