Obviously PSO2/NGS is my current hyperfixation but I can also wordvomit about characters from the following:

Sorry for taking so long to respond... ^^

How I feel about this character: HMMM...He might be my favorite character from PS1! I played the original games in reverse order and I was so taken by the Musk Cat Cave in PSIV that I was really excited to play one in PSI...and I LOST IT when I found out the whole Alshline quest comes down to Myau not being able to open a bottle. („ಡωಡ„)

All the people I ship romantically with this character: I think he might have a little crush on Alis, similar to the way Morgana has a crush on Anne in Persona 5. Just instantly bowled over by her presence on meeting her.

My non-romantic OTP for this character: His devotion to Odin is really sweet and a large reason why I like him so much. Odin's best bud and most trusted companion being a little cat is just too charming

My unpopular opinion about this character: Not particularly fond of the way he is portrayed, both visually and in characterization.

One thing I wish would happen / had happened with this character in canon: I wish we could have asked for Myau's opinions on the party in PSIV. He just kinda gives you the Silver Tusk and that's it. :(

a headcanon fact: I don't remember if it's fanon or canon that Newmans like Nei and Rika have musk cat genes, but regardless I like to think that's true and because of that, Myau has an instant fondness/connection to Rika when they meet in PSIV.

Myau was a powerful mage. He could talk telepathically, make force barriers and heal almost all wounds. You'd think he could manage opening a bottle. Force barrier just under the lid. There, done.
