Today I woke up at eleven, stayed in bed until two because it was cold and I wanted to read comics, then had candy and soda for breakfast. I'M AN ADULT
Anyway, thanks to Tumblr I have somewhat belatedly found out that Mu-12 and Nu-13 are going to be back in Blazblue Chronophantsma, woo! (BTW, I don't think I'll ever stop giggling at the name Chronophantsma.) The BB wiki had little blurbs on their respective character pages and the one for Mu-12 made my Noel/Tsubaki shipping heart ~flutter:
Thanks to Rachel Alucard, Noel regains Mu's powers and abilities in order to save Tsubaki Yayoi with the power of the Azure. She no longer possesses the same cold, destructive personality she had after her initial awakening, and instead retains Noel's personality and memories.
♥ ♥ ♥ ! NEGL, my secret wish for the next BB game was for Noel to swoop in all heroic-like and save Tsubaki from the eeeeeeevil NOL and THAT IS ACTUALLY GOING TO HAPPEN NOW. (Well, maybe? This is BB and it's just as likely that everything will end horribly because that's how things work in the BB universe.) In any case, I'm glad that a) Noel is able to control her Murakumo powers and b) her main motivation is the safety and happiness of her BFF. I'm a sucker for characters coming to terms with immense power and ~the enduring power of friendship~ so Noel and Tsubaki's storyline reduces me to a big squishy mess of feelings.
Of course Mu-12's character artwork continues the CP trend of accentuating the fanservice--I mean, Mu's outfit was just as absurd in CS as it is here, but at least the CS artwork wasn't so, um, upfront about it? I dunno, I feel as if I'm splitting hairs here, but all the T&A bothers me more this time around. :/ At least Nu-13's art is not bad.
I think I need to sequester myself from Blazblue news at this point, because it's probably not going to be available for awhile and I want to play it badly already. x_x
