Okay, so I meant to reply to this sooner but I've been a little busy, sorry. But if you're having trouble keeping up with where you're at in Homestuck, I have solutions because I have the same problem. xD
For one thing, I started bookmarking the last page I read OR the next one I need to read. That's saved me so many times it's kind of sad by now, lol. Note: It's best to either name the bookmark or keep it in a place where you can go "Oh yes, this is my spot in Homestuck". I delete the bookmark when I start reading again but you can just keep bookmarking because even if your bookmarks like to sort themselves in some weird alphabetical order (like mine do), the numbers in the url keep everything in order (so the most recent stuff is always on top).
Alternately, I've also been keeping track of what days I last read so I know where to start the next time if I start reading on a device that doesn't have my bookmarks (so for example, usually I read Homestuck on my bro's PS3 and keep all my bookmarks there but if I ever got the crazy idea to abuse myself with my computer's obnoxiousness, I currently know I'm up to the 8/05/10 pages).
