three weeks for drabbles?

The three_weeks_for_dw fest is kind of, sort of in swing right now--the original community moderator isn't available, and there's been some confusion as far as the end/start dates, but that hasn't stopped people from posting stuff. \o/

Anyway there's a Animanga/manhwa/manhua drabblefest going on for 3W4DW, and I was thinking maybe there should be one for video games too? It would be different from having another friending meme, at least. :P

I am shying away from hosting a regular comment-fic thing because there are already a lot of communities and challenges that specialize in that (areyougame, fic_promptly) but if people aren't interested in drabble-length fills then a regular comment fic fest it is!~

I was thinking something along these lines needed to happened too. I was thinking of holding a drawble/drabble (allowing up to 500 words) fest for anime/manga/video games but my internet situation is going to be a little iffy in a few days so... Yeah, it would be awesome if you held a video game theme drabble and drawble fest. =D

I haven't decided on the format length but I'm wavering between double-drabble length or having a 100~500 ficlet fest. Kinda leaning towards the longer word count because it might be easier for people (I think?) and encourage more participation.

But part of the fun of microfic is trying to say what you want with a strict limit in place, so...

Not sure how to go about setting up a fanart equivalent to drabbles but I'll keep it in mind...perhaps make it a separate post?

Well in any case I'll have something up in the next day or so, I don't want to wait TOO long to start it. :p
