I... got less than four hours of sleep when I first woke up, which was. Not fun! That is not enough sleep! So I stayed up long enough to do kitty breakfasttime, in the interests of not getting fucking bitten (and also because it's not fair to them if I sleep through it and make their breakfast super late), and then went back to bed.

Yeaaaaah, I didn't get to the shops until after kitty dinnertime. BUT I DID GO! Forgot some things, and didn't get some other things due to Bag Too Heavy Already, but I got milk and juice, so that's plenty to drink for now! >3

Other than that... caught some shinies in pokemon! Put on Advent Children while I was doing that because I wanted something in the background. Forgot that my copy is JP-only, no subs, so that was uh. A little more thinking about language stuff than I expected! XD It was fine, though, I wasn't exactly wanting to pay close attention to the dialogue (or any of it tbh).

...Sushi, why did you JUST NOW come sit in my lap and start purring. Now is not the time. Give me five minutes to get into pjs and brush my teeth, then you can curl up on me in bed!!!

They're DOOOOONE~! I'm so happy.

Next up is pulling a few nails before sanding (so the sandpaper doesn't, you know, catch and tear up into uselessness), then painting. Might do some tomorrow, not sure yet - I REALLY need to go shopping, I require moar drinks. Also more food, but that's less urgent, the lack of non-water drinks is... resulting in me not drinking much. Which is not great. I have my water glass right here, I just. It cold. And gross. No desire to drink it, though I do make myself when I remember.

In unrelated news, Tortilla has been SO SNUGGLY today omg. Just. I make a vaguely lap-shaped space, I have cat in it. It's very nice! :3 She put her little paws all over my face this morning, too, stretching out while I rubbed her head :x :x :x So soooooft!!!

I did make butter chicken, too! I needed TWO big plates in order to stop feeling hungry, which is telling me I haven't been eating enough again, siiiiigh. At least butter chicken is delicious enough I won't have that problem again until I finish it! Need to get more tortillas and tomatoes etc for wraps, too. Been heating up a couple of chicken nuggets per wrap as the protein, which is actually really good! And warm, which helps in this weather orz.

Anyway, here's to hoping that I fall asleep easily tonight! Haven't the last few nights, though napping during the day is fine. Might be the cold, which is annoying.

So Sibling did come over today! The edge sanding has been done! Despite the machine being called an edge sander, though, it doesn't do corners. For. Reasons. Extremely poorly designed reasons, by all reports, it's apparently a hellish contraption of exceptionally stupid construction. Sibling couldn't find a different type to use, though, alas. :/

So sanding will continue next week, almost definitely on Monday, so there's that to look forward to. 2-3 weeks for the whole job seemed like a pipe dream to me, and hey look I WAS RIGHT. Gonna be at LEAST four weeks, maybe longer. Annoying! Hopefully my room can be opened up again sometime next week, though. Ugh, I need shoes.

As far as my stuff goes, I didn't quite get the last board done, but it's mostly there. Maybe a quarter left, at most? So I'll definitely finish that tomorrow.

Didn't end up cooking curry tonight, though, for the extremely stupid reason of I was too hungry/tired. Like. What the hell, evolution, why is this a thing? But no, you get too hungry and tired and coordination goes away and I definitely could not trust myself with knives and fire and hot oil. :| So that'll be tomorrow too! As soon as I finish the paint stripping, I think. Even if it's only like 2pm, doesn't matter, curry time!

I DID however cook a proper dinner, so I'm pretty pleased with that. (I was THINKING I'd just have leftover soup, but my brain is bouncing off it pretty hard right now. Because. Of course it is. SIGH.)

Sibling should be here tomorrow, so we'll see how things go! Hopefully most of the sanding will get finished!

I did make my soup this morning! It's okay. Needs more stuff in it, I think, but it's got what I had in, and it's not bad!

I also did manage to get out of bed and do some more paint stripping! I think this board needs a third go-over, but at least I got through the second pass today! Hopefully tomorrow I'll be able to do that, and start on another board. Will depend on the weather as much as anything else, I think, I am. Extremely unlikely to go out and do some while it's raining, even if I'm technically undercover. Too cold!!!

I did... absolutely nothing on my to-do list today. I didn't even get out of bed until like. 5? It was almost dark, I know that much. SIGH.

I did at least apply for some jobs, which I've gotten into the habit of and so didn't put on my to-do list, but still. Fuck executive dysfunction, what a pain. Not surprised though, this is generally how it goes. :/

I HAVE to go shopping tomorrow though, I'm out of uh. Most foods. So hopefully that'll give me a kick in the ass to do other things, too. Hopefully!!!

I did do some knitting though, almost done with the switch cover! Just gotta bind off and then probably block it. Never had to block anything before, so that'll be an adventure! (Mama blocked the shawl I gave her. I was gonna do it, but she had it washed and blocked out before I could even say I was gonna! XD;;;) First thing will, of course, be finding the mats! But I do know where pins are, so that's something...

Still cold! Dislike! (I mean sure it's the middle of fucking winter but that does not make me like it any more. So gross.)

But! I did set up the long skirting boards in the carport - didn't get one fully done, but I DID start with the longest one and it's ALMOST done, I just kinda ran out of light. :/ (Again, with the winter! Boo!) Sibling got the drum sanding done today, too, which is excellent. :3 Not gonna rent the next sander until next week, so I'll have some quiet days which is nice. (Do need to go in and vacuum and mop, just to try and keep some dust control going, but hey. That's not actually too hard.)

Tentative plan is to have at least all the paint stripping done by Monday - I DEFINITELY want to start painting early next week - but we'll see how it goes! I also need to go food shopping again, so I'mma try and do that tomorrow since it's not the weekend? Ugh, I should have showered tonight, whoops. Too late now! Guess I'll do it after breakfast.

Today's Big Task was... I moved my computer! Ugh, what a pain. WHAT A PAIN. Hate. But it's all here, and while it's not as comfortable a set up as in my room I DO get to use a comfier chair, which is nice. Shoulders are already complaining though, so hopefully I can move back soon... I suspect I'll be doing a lot more crafting and playing pokemon while I'm in here, which isn't actually a bad thing.

Also gotta find the fucking allen key for the monitor stand; one of the joints is loose and in the new config that's uh making it Difficult. Monitor's being propped up at the moment but it's still not ideal, so yeaaaah. Couldn't find the actual allen key sets easily though and I was just kinda. Done. So that's a tomorrow task.

Also cleaned the chook coop and did some more work on the skirting boards! Gonna try and get a lot more done on the skirting boards tomorrow, maybe strip back one of the BIG ones. A little worried at how long those are gonna take, not gonna lie...

Anyway, now is time for sleeps! Couch in here is uh. Not even vaguely as comfortable as mine, so not really looking forward to finding out what the state of my back will be in the morning, but Oh Well. Might get some extra cushions out of my room tomorrow, will see how it goes. Already know I want to get a lamp, I forgot there wasn't one in here already.
