Title: Run to Me
Fandom: FFVI
Pairing: Terra/Celes
Rating: G
Words: 200
A/N: Spoilers for end of the game; assumes the WoR party leaves Terra in Mobliz.
---
Terra watches black clouds swirl over Kefka's stronghold. Her body trembles uncontrollably; the magic that binds her together is draining away, and the loss makes Terra's bones ache.
She is afraid for herself, but more afraid for those she knows are at the center of that maelstrom. Celes' words echo through Terra's mind - We're going to stop Kefka - an almost childlike sentiment, but when uttered in Celes' crisp, cool tone, and backed by icy eyes that had never known wishful dreaming, her words took on the sharp, merciless edge of a blade. Terra did not doubt that Celes would bring about Kefka's downfall.
But would Celes fall, as well? Terra would never regret her decision to stay in Mobliz, but she aches to be at Celes' side now, to guide her through the tempest that threatens to engulf her.
The magic hasn't left you yet, Terra's Esper-self whispers. If you will it, you will find her.
Trance settles over Terra like a heavy blanket, suffocating when before it had been freeing. But the power is still there, potent and at her command: she leaps into the air, resolve guiding her crumbling form to the heart of the storm, to Celes.
