i have a powerful urge to read some Nick/Ellis PWP, like, SERIOUSLY PLOTLESS, like, there is one paragraph of half-assed exposition slathered in cheese and then multiple pages of deliciously detailed smut. the NxE comm., while a lovely place for the most part, has not delivered on this front recently.
i guess this means i should just write it myself, but. i'm so lazy and besides, smut is more fun if somebody else writes it. and i probably won't care so much after today.

I've been trying to write a couple of porny stories about N/E lately, but obviously I haven't been trying hard enough. D: I'm sort of feeling the porn deficit as well. ;_;

and maybe it's just me, but it seems like most Nick/Ellis is PG-13 'getting to know you' fluff and/or angst? which is fine, i like that kind of stuff, but i like super smutty stuff too and it's...harder to find than it should be, i think XD

I'm spoiled from my last fandom because my OTP was so popular, that there was like, new porn for them almost every day. XD

I have however developed a 3 step program for dealing with it though:
Step 1 - write the porn you really want to read.
Step 2 - make cheese on toast and watch a movie, go shopping, play your fave computer game.
Step 3 - make more cheese on toast then read your porn. Feel better. On a good day you may write more on top of it. In which case repeat steps 2 and 3.
I find it's better than No Porn, which makes me sad. :p

my attempts to write porn get derailed by my fantastic ability to procrastinate more often than not, though.
you know what's really frustrating? finding porn with the pairing you like, but it's so poorly written - or just really, really different from they way you interpret it - that you can't really enjoy it. :(
then i feel bad because hey, at least it exists, and someone put time and effort into it and why can't i appreciate this more, but aauuughh it's just not right.

Otherwise, I often find myself responsible for my own wish-fulfillment, it is sad. I have no trouble disliking badly written smut, even if it's for my fave pairing, because bad writing in any instance irritates me, but when it's porn it often comes with such grotesque ooc it makes me want to shout...or maybe just cry ;_;
This does not prevent me from being slightly grateful that it exists in the first place. :P
