I swear, you need to get into Homestuck. It would help fill in a lot of kinks automatically. xD (But so much reading. @.@; I'm still two years of reading behind. *dies*)

And ngl, I'm still kind of fuzzy on what exactly the objectification kink entails.

I watched a documentary once about these people that were attracted to objects. This one guy was in a serious relationship with his car. And this chick was head over heels in love with the Berlin Wall, so much so that she moved from America just to be closer to it.

In the guy's case, he said he was never attracted to women. He tried dating, but never really felt fulfilled. Not like he did when he spent time with a car. He had a special one. He claimed to make love to it (I tried to picture it, but I failed, lol).

The lady, on the other hand, came from a sexually abusive childhood where she was basically objectified by the perpetrator(s? - she didn't go into much detail). They had some head doc explain that her attraction to the Berlin Wall was basically her way of objectifying something of power because of her past abuse.

It was rather fascinating (and yes, I do watch odd documentaries, lol).

But it helped me understand the objectification kink as soon as I had seen it on the list of new kinks. One way of using it is in the ways I just mentioned, so instead of a car or a wall, you could write about someone deeply attracted to their weapons, to use a very convenient example. xD

But also, you could write about someone that enjoys being used as a piece of furniture. The sense of humiliation they feel when their partner ignores them and uses them as a chair or a pillow or a table or a practice dummy, all without acknowledging their presence.

((P.S. - I totally support that Temperature Play idea you have here! >D ))
